I’m in a relatively new relationship, and we’re still figuring out the "rules" for what we’re comfortable with. Last night we were talking about porn videos and whether watching them counts as a solo activity or something we should talk about. It’s a bit of a minefield when you don't know someone's history with it yet. Luckily, they were super chill about it and said as long as it’s not an addiction, they don’t care. It was such a weight off my shoulders to know we're on the same page. How do you guys bring up these "taboo" topics early on without making things awkward?

I saw this thread title on the homepage and was curious about what the consensus was. It’s interesting how much more open people are today compared to even ten years ago on these forums. I remember when topics like this would get moderated or hidden almost immediately, but now it’s just seen as another part of adult life. It’s a sign of the times, I suppose. I don't really have a horse in this race, but I appreciate the mature way everyone is handling the conversation. I’m going to go finish my lunch and get back to the DIY section. Cheers!
