Morning Pilates Sessions
- Rise and Align: A comprehensive full-body Pilates session emphasizing alignment and resistance training.
- At the Beach - Waves and Core: A pilates class utilizing props to deliver a complete body workout, engaging the core throughout while incorporating the challenge of external weights—all set against the backdrop of the beach.
- Barre Sunrise: A one-hour barre session targeting the lower body, incorporating resistance, cardio, and alignment work.
- On the Sand - Sand and Stability: An invigorating barre practice on the beach, focusing on building stronger legs and core stability.
- Burn Barre Burn: An intense lower body workout that emphasizes stability, props, and rhythm, culminating in a core-strengthening finale.
- Mermaid Sculpt: A sculpting session that emphasizes flow with heavier weights, designed to align, build strength, and tone, ending with a 15-20 minute HIIT workout.
Sunset Yoga
- At the Beach - Flow with the Tide: A gentle yoga practice that weaves together breathwork and the soothing sounds of the ocean.
- Golden Hour Stretch: A session dedicated to stretching, breath, and mobility after a long day.
- Sundown Hip Flow: A yoga practice focused on enhancing hip mobility and opening.
- Open Your Chest, Loosen Your Heart: A gentle sundown yoga session aimed at shoulder and chest opening, promoting mobility.
- Yoga and the Moon: This practice is designed to set a special intention for the next six months, using asanas to help manifest what you wish to incorporate into your life.
- Low and Slow: A serene sunrise yoga session that emphasizes breath awareness and full-body mobility.
Pilates class types further explained:
- Barre: Join us for a 1-hour workout set to invigorating music, designed to create elongated bodies while toning the lower body with the help of the barre. This class incorporates Pilates techniques that use bands for abdominal resistance and features isometric movements, complemented by guided stretches. Unleash your inner ballerina!
- Sculpt: This 1-hour class is tailored for those looking to lift their strength training by using heavier weights. Focus on controlled movements that promote muscle contraction and expansion, enhancing fat burning for a strong, toned physique. Experience a dynamic blend of Tabata-style intervals—20 seconds of high intensity followed by 10 seconds of rest.
- Power Pilates: Experience a Pilates class that challenges you with weights and resistance bands, aimed at sculpting, strengthening, and stabilizing your body while boosting core strength and flexibility. This dynamic session combines targeted strength training exercises with the graceful movements of Pilates, delivering a comprehensive workout that engages your muscles and improves your posture.
Each of these classes has been thoughtfully crafted to offer something for everyone, regardless of your experience level. Whether you're looking to improve strength, flexibility, or just have fun, our program offers the perfect balance of challenge and relaxation.
There are additional included tours and activities you can opt for, such as a sound bowl ceremony, cenote excursion and a snorkeling day. There is also plenty of you-time to go hit the beach, bike in the jungle, swim in the pool, paddle board or kayak, read a book on a hammock with the ocean breeze, or go explore the rest of the beautiful Mayan Riviera with Copal Retreat's assistance.
Example Schedule
*The day will start with sunrise pilates, following by a delicious breakfast.
*After breakfast, there will be either an excursion planned, you can enjoy a massage, or there is free time for you to enjoy the pool or beach, go for a bike ride, enjoy the paddle boards, plan additional excursions, etc. The options are endless.
*A healthy and fulfilling lunch will await you to fuel you up for your afternoon activities.
*Enjoy a relaxing sunset yoga class, followed by a delicious multi course dinner.
