Join Copal Retreat for an epic adventure to Puglia, Italy! UNESCO considers the area a historical patrimony of the world. Surrender in savasana under the olive trees. Sip wine from any of the vineyards next door. Lose yourself in old world charm. Enjoy culinary lessons and daily home cooked meals from our lovely Italian chef . Fresh pastries, gelato, and the sea breeze on your skin along with new friendships and movement! Relax in a beautiful private masseria villa the heart of Puglia, and let Copal Retreat curate your perfect southern Italian getaway with day tours to magical towns, incredible food and beaches, accommodations and daily copal movement practices.

Location & Accommodations

The retreat is located in the heart of Puglia on the southern coast and on the heal of Italy's famous boot. The most convenient airport to fly into is Bari International Airport (BRI) where our included shuttle on the day of the retreat will be transporting guests to the masseria. We recommend arriving to one of Europe's beautiful cities a couple days early to help adjust to the jetlag and time change - from there you can fly into Bari (or Brindisi) feeling rested and acclimated.

This region is known for it's fertile soil that harvests an abundance of olive trees and other fruits- so expect daily farm to table meals made from ingredients picked directly from the property, and yoga/pilates practice surrounded by the smell of olives.

Itinerary & Workshops

In addition to daily yoga/pilates, La Dolce Vita vibes, and amazing food, you will be visiting Alberobello, a fairytale village most famed for its cone-shaped trellis that was built using a prehistoric building technique. Explore tours of the UNESCO heritage towns and beaches of Monopoli and Polignano (optional to add: Lecce).

You will also have three culinary workshops (olive oil, pasta, and panzerotti workshop), daily sunrise practice, daily aperitif and sunset practice, and the most amazing Italian food.

Included excursions

You will go to the beach and swim in the Adriatic Sea in Monopoli, visit Polignano a Mare with its beaches nestled between cliffs into the ocean, take lots of pictures, and have a chance to wander, swim, shop, and eat. You will also visit Ostuni and Locorotondo (optional).

Featuring Regina Chávez as your yoga instructor

Yoga is at the heart of everything I do. My classes are an invitation to slow down, reconnect, and cultivate awareness through movement and breath. I integrate pranayama (breathwork), visualization, and meditation, creating a space where students can ground themselves, release tension, and reconnect with their inner rhythm.

I teach Hatha and Vinyasa yoga. Hatha offers a slower, more intentional practice—perfect for anchoring into the present moment and building a deep mind–body connection. Vinyasa is more fluid and dynamic, encouraging mindful movement, strength, and flow, while allowing the breath to guide each transition.

I am grateful for the opportunity to share my practice and to hold space for meaningful, nourishing experiences. My intention is to offer teachings that feel accessible, grounding, and uplifting—tools you can carry with you both on and off the mat.

I’m excited to meet you and to share special moments together on the mat. Join me and Copal Retreat for a 8 day Italian getaway.
