
Renata trained intensively in southern India in the practice of Himalayan Hatha Yoga, Prana Kriya Yoga, and Pranayama under the instruction of Yogi Ashokananda. There she also received instruction in traditional Ayurvedic diet, philosophy, and breathing. Through this training and subsequent study, Renata received her teaching license through Yoga Alliance Professionals.
Renata is also a licensed physical therapy rehabilitation professional with extensive experience providing services to patients in both hospital and clinical settings. Her formal education and training in body mechanics, injury and disease allows Renata to assess body inefficiencies and recommend preventive and corrective treatments.
As a Buddhist practitioner for over 20 years, Renata provides people with a unique insight into authentic spiritual connection and practices. Her experience as both student and practitioner inform her in effectively integrating both modern and timeless health and well-being practices.
This unique combination of education and training with varied personal and professional experiences working with mind and body have enabled Renata to heal people of diverse backgrounds afflicted with a range of impairments, from physical injuries to cancer and stroke recovery to psychosocial conditions.
